Assessment of the Interaction between Ammonium Dinitramide and Isocyanurate Bonding Agents for Application on Technologies of Composite Solid Propellants

This work investigates the interaction of two isocyanurate‐based bonding agents with ammonium dinitramide: triallyl isocyanurate and 1,3,5‐tris(2‐hydroxyethyl) isocyanurate, which contain alkene and hydroxyl functional groups in their side chains, respectively.

Hydroxyl‐Terminated Polybutadiene‐Based Molding Powders as an Alternative Route for Manufacturing Pressed Polymer‐Bonded Explosives

This study presents an alternative method to manufacture polymer‐bonded explosives by partially curing an HTPB‐based molding powder prior to compaction. The study shows that the length of partial cure time before compaction directly influenced the geometric fidelity, homogeneity, compressive strength, density, and internal microstructure.
