Cryogenic Liquid Rocket Engine Test Bench Fault-Tolerant Control System: Cooling System Application
Abstract A nonlinear fault-tolerant control strategy relying on quantitative physics-based models for a cryogenic combustion bench operation is proposed in this paper. The aim is to improve the reliability of a cryogenic bench operation in the transients and to allow to converge to a wider range of operating points.

Experimental Flow Investigation of a Truncated Ideal Contour Nozzle [PDF]
Various tests showed a significant side load peak for low nozzle pressure ratios during engine start-up and shut down phase. DLR Lampoldshausen carried out tests to examine the flow field in a truncated ideal contour nozzle for low NPR.

Abstract Carbohydrate supplementation optimises athletic performance, but the metabolic and performance impacts of commercial products/compositions are underexplored. We compared the efficacy of three commercial carbohydrate supplements: a glucose–fructose bar (GF‐Bar), a glucose–fructose hydrogel (GF‐Gel) and a maltodextrin‐based gel (MD‐Gel ...

Crater Observing Bioinspired Rolling Articulator (COBRA)
Crater Observing Bio‐inspired Rolling Articulator (COBRA) is a modular, snake‐inspired robot that addresses the mobility challenges of extraterrestrial exploration sites such as Shackleton Crater. Incorporating snake‐like gaits and tumbling locomotion, COBRA navigates both uneven surfaces and steep crater walls.

Exploring the Interior Structure of (16) Psyche Through Basin‐Scale Collisions
Abstract Asteroid (16) Psyche, the largest member of the M/X‐type asteroids, may be the leftover core of a differentiated planetesimal. As such (16) Psyche will be explored in detail by NASA's discovery‐class Psyche mission in 2029. This will be the first mission to orbit a metal‐rich asteroid, or any asteroid in the 100–500 km size range.
