Responses of bryophyte diversity, community and Chlorophyll content to rocky desertification succession [PDF]
Abstract Background : bryophytes have great potential for the restoration of rocky desertification. At present, research on the correlation between bryophytes and the rocky desertification environment is in its infancy, and basic questions about the ecological response of bryophytes to rocky desertification, including biodiversity, community ...

Abstract Oxygen is critical for nearly all life on Earth, including aquatic species that breathe dissolved oxygen in both freshwater and marine systems. The rapid, global, and anthropogenic loss of dissolved oxygen known as “aquatic deoxygenation” threatens life in these environments, the human communities that depend on them, and Earth system ...

Abstract The dependence of aeolian dust transport on atmospheric circulation patterns allows dust preserved in Antarctic ice cores to serve as a proxy for past circulation variability. Here, we investigate dust transport to high‐elevation Dronning Maud Land (DML) in Antarctica through analysis of the 1300‐year‐old ISOL‐ICE ice core dust record together
