In Vivo Microplastic Detection With Photoacoustic Imaging
ABSTRACT Microplastics are posing an escalating threat to both ecological systems and human health. Yet, current methods for investigating their bioaccumulation are highly invasive, requiring destructive analysis of ex vivo tissues via mass spectrometry, dye labelling, or Raman microspectroscopy.

Recovering ‘lost’ information in the presence of noise: application to rodent–predator dynamics. [PDF]
A Hamiltonian approach is introduced for the reconstruction of trajectories and models of complex stochastic dynamics from noisy measurements. The method converges even when entire trajectory components are unobservable and the parameters are unknown. It

Fibronectin 1 (FN1)‐expressing subicular subpopulations encode novel object preference and selectively govern retrieval of novel object recognition (NOR) via affecting excitability of entorhinal‐projecting circuit through large conductance Ca2+‐activated potassium (BK) channel. ABSTRACT Novel object recognition (NOR), referring to the cognitive ability

Targeting the PDK1/c‐Myc/SOX10 Signaling in Oligodendrocytes Alleviates Neuropathic Pain
This work reveals that oligodendrocyte homeostasis, mediated by PDK1, is a critical determinant of neuropathic pain (NPP) pathogenesis. Disruption of PDK1 in oligodendrocytes impairs SOX10‐dependent myelination programs through c‐Myc accumulation, leading to disrupted myelination and the pathophysiology of NPP.

Mound-building by plateau pikas modulates the greenhouse gas balance
The plateau pika (Ochotona curzoniae) is a burrowing mammal of the alpine meadows on the Tibetan Plateau. Its digging activity reshapes the vertical soil structure, forming heterogeneous soil mounds that significantly alter the local microenvironment ...
