2-colored Rogers-Ramanujan partition identities

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper, we combined two types of partitions and introduced 2-colored Rogers-Ramanujan partitions. By finding some functional equations and using a constructive method, some identities have been found.

Pseudo q-Engel expansions and Rogers-Ramanujan type identities

open access: yes, 2012
Andrews, Knopfmacher and Knopfmacher have used the Schur polynomials to consider the celebrated Rogers-Ramanujan identities in the context of q-Engel expansions. We extend this view using similar polynomials, provided by Sills, in the context of Slater's

Elementary proofs of some identities of Ramanujan for the Rogers-Ramanujan functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In a handwritten manuscript published with his lost notebook, Ramanujan stated without proofs forty identities for the Rogers-Ramanujan functions. With one exception all of Ramanujan's identities were proved.

Bilateral Bailey lemma and Rogers–Ramanujan identities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We prove a bilateral Bailey lemma and establish twenty-five transformation formulae between unilateral and bilateral summations for nonterminating basic hypergeometric series.

Affine Lie Algebras, Vertex Operator Algebras and Combinatorial Identities

open access: yes, 2005
Affine Lie algebra representations have many connections with different areas of mathematics and physics. One such connection in mathematics is with number theory and in particular combinatorial identities.

Combinatorial Interpretation of Rogers Ramanujan Identities and Their Analogues

open access: yes, 2012
M.Sc. (Mathematics and Computing)In this thesis, we study about partitions of positive integers. The study of parti- tions of positive integers has fascinated a number of great mathematicians: Euler, Legendre, Ramanujan, Hardy, Rademacher, Sylvester ...
