Numerical study of roll motion of a 2-D floating structure in viscous flow [PDF]
In the present study, an open source CFD tool, OpenFOAM has been extended and applied to investigate roll motion of a 2-D rectangular barge induced by nonlinear regular waves in viscous flow.

Electrically Readable Lateral Flow Assay Using Organic Transistors for Diagnostic Applications
Electrolyte‐gated organic field‐effect transistors (EGOFETs) are integrated with lateral flow (LF) paper fluidics to create a reusable, portable, and low‐cost point‐of‐care (PoC) diagnostic test. The devices are validated for Human Immunoglobulin G detection, achieving high sensitivity (0.1 fm), selectivity, and reproducibility with rapid results in 20–

Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

Advances in gyro-stabilisation of vessel roll motion
The use of gyro-dynamic forces to counteract the wave-induced roll motion of marine vessels in a seaway was proposed over 100 years ago. These early systems showed a remarkable performance, reporting roll reductions of up to 95% in some sailing ...

Decoupling Control of Yaw Stability of Distributed Drive Electric Vehicles
Most of the research on driving stability control of distributed drive electric vehicles is based on a yaw motion design controller. The designed controller can improve the lateral stability of the vehicle well but rarely mentions its changes to the roll

We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...
