A label‐free impedimetric biosensor based on electroactive 3D porous graphene foam enables ultrasensitive and selective detection of CD81 protein and MCF‐7 cell‐derived extracellular vesicles in human serum. Detection limits of 0.048 fg/mL for CD81 and ∼24 EVs/mL are achieved, demonstrating a robust platform for selective, label‐free, and ...

A codesign multiobjective optimization framework was developed to enhance the morphology and controller of a snake‐like robot driven by artificial muscles. It improved planar locomotion, agility, and power efficiency. The approach optimized link geometry and controller gains, revealing that shorter muscles near joints and longer linkages maximize ...

Information Transmission Strategies for Self‐Organized Robotic Aggregation
In this review, we discuss how information transmission influences the neighbor‐based self‐organized aggregation of swarm robots. We focus specifically on local interactions regarding information transfer and categorize previous studies based on the functions of the information exchanged.

Collision‐Resilient Winged Drones Enabled by Tensegrity Structures
Based on structures of birds such as the woodpeck, this article presents the collision‐resilient aerial robot, SWIFT. SWIFT leverages tensegrity structures in the fuselage and wings which allow it to undergo large deformations in a crash, without sustaining damage. Experiments show that SWIFT can reduce impact forces by 70% over conventional structures.

On the Hydrodynamic Coupling between the Ship Roll Motion and Liquid Sloshing in a Flooded Tank
In this work, the roll motion of a ship with free surface liquids is investigated. A mathematical model that solves the roll motion equation in conjunction with the RANSE for the liquid sloshing has been developed.

Soft Robotic Snake with Tunable Undulatory Gait for Efficient Underwater Locomotion
This study designs an underwater soft snake robot using 3D‐printed soft actuators, controlled by specific signals to generate sinusoidal undulation. Results show a positive correlation between speed and swing amplitude, with optimal performance at 2/3π phase offset, PLA tail, 1.2 voltage growth rate, and 6s undulation period achieving a maximum speed ...

On the Coupling of Roll Motion with Other Motions in Beam Waves
To have reliable results by applying the modern methods of nonlinear dynamics, a realistic mathematical model of ship motions is needed. In this paper we discuss, on an experimental basis, the large amplitude roll motion modelling, an issue of great ...
