Cellulose Acetate Fibers With Infiltrated ZnO Nanocrystals: Activation of Antibacterial Properties Against Acne vulgaris by Oxygen Plasma Treatment

We present biodegradable cellulose acetate fibers infiltrated with ZnO nanocrystals for Acne treatment. Fibers produced by centrifugal spinning were vapor‐phase infiltrated to contain uniform ZnO nanocrystals. Oxygen plasma treatment enhanced the fibers´ wettability.
