Justice‐centred climate change education and territory

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract In a globalised world, education faces challenges that go far beyond professional training, where social responsibility and the inclusion of heterogeneous communities and territories in all levels of education have become a greater focus of the university and of scientific research, setting the stage for more inclusive public policies. The spread of non‐native species

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The global redistribution of species through human agency is one of the defining ecological signatures of the Anthropocene, with biological invasions reshaping biodiversity patterns, ecosystem processes and services, and species interactions globally.

Conformal isometry of the Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter black hole

open access: yes, 2003
It was pointed out by Couch and Torrence that the extreme Reissner-Nordstrom solution possesses a discrete conformal isometry. Using results of Romans, it is shown that such a symmetry also exists when a non-zero cosmological constant is allowed.Comment:

The impacts of biological invasions

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Anthropocene is characterised by a continuous human‐mediated reshuffling of the distributions of species globally. Both intentional and unintentional introductions have resulted in numerous species being translocated beyond their native ranges, often leading to their establishment and subsequent spread – a process referred to as biological

Dressed Feshbach molecules in the BEC-BCS crossover

open access: yes, 2005
We present the RPA theory of the BEC-BCS crossover in an atomic Fermi gas near a Feshbach resonance that includes the relevant two-body atomic physics exactly. This allows us to determine the probability $Z$ for the dressed molecules in the Bose-Einstein

Fermionic T-duality in massive type IIA supergravity on AdS_{10-k} x M_k [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Fermionic T-duality transformation is studied for the N=1 supersymmetric solutions of massive type IIA supergravity with the metric AdS_{10-k} x M_k for k=3 and 5.
