The study assesses environmental sustainability in 97 of Tanzania's building construction projects amid rapid urbanization. Using the LEED framework, the study reveals a low sustainability level. Barriers to sustainable practices are such as financial constraints, limited use of sustainable materials, and regulatory challenges.
