Dibenzyl isophthalates as versatile hosts in room temperature phosphorescence host-guest systems. [PDF]
We report a series of dibenzyl isophthalates (DBIs) as versatile hosts for room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) systems, leading to host-guest systems with quantum yields (QY) of up to 77 % or lifetimes of up to 21.0 s for the guest coronene d12 ...

Crystallization-induced room-temperature phosphorescence in fumaramides
Novel fumaramides exhibit room-temperature phosphorescence in the solid state once molecular design and positioning of the carbonyl and bromine atoms allow for the formation of strong intermolecular halogen bonding interactions.

An evaluation of cellulose as a substrate for room-temperature phosphorescence
Cotton-linter pulps, wood pulps and several filter papers have been evaluated as substrates for room-temperature phosphorescence. A variety of chemical treatments of one filter paper is discussed in terms of reducing the background phosphorescence of the cellulose and in evaluating possible trace contaminants in cotton fibres.
