Room Temperature Phosphorescence Optosensor for Terbium

Analytical Letters, 1996
Abstract A solid surface room temperature phosphorescence optosensing method has been developed for the determination of terbium(III) based on the adsorption of its binary complex with 1,4-bis (l'-phenyl-3′-methyl-5′-pyrazolone-4′-) butanedione-(1,4) (BPMPBD) onto the hydrogen form of a strong cation exchange resin packed in a flow cell in an aqueous ...

Determination of nafcillin by room temperature phosphorescence

Analytica Chimica Acta, 2000
Abstract Room-temperature phosphorescence, as a very high selective and sensitive method, was applied to the determination of nafcillin in pharmaceutical preparations. The use of phosphorescence enhancer such as sodium dodecyl sulfate (micellar agent), thallium (I) nitrate (external heavy atom), and sodium sulfite (deoxygenation agent) was studied ...

Room temperature phosphorescence optosensor for anthracyclines

The Analyst, 1998
A flow-through optosensor for anthracyclines based on the anthracycline–europium chelate room temperature phosphorescence energy transfer is proposed. The sensor was developed in conjunction with a flow injection analysis system and is based on the transient immobilization on a non-ionic resin (packed in a flow-through cell) of the anthracycline ...

Room temperature phosphorescence optosensor for tetracyclines

Analytica Chimica Acta, 1993
Abstract A flow-through optosensor for tetracyclines based on the tetracycline-europium chelate room temperature phosphorescence energy transfer is proposed. The sensor is developed in conjunction with a flow-injection analysis system and is based on the transient immobilization on a non-ionic resin (packed in a flow-through cell) of the tetracycline-

Prevalent Room-Temperature Phosphorescence in Natural Nuts

Journal of the American Chemical Society
Room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) has extensive applications in various fields such as data encryption, chemical sensing, optoelectronic displaying, and time-resolved bioimaging, yet most materials are fossil fuel-based. Recently, an increasing interest has emerged with respect to natural organic RTP.

Solid-Surface Room Temperature Phosphorescence

Applied Spectroscopy Reviews, 1992
Abstract Luminescence can be defined as radiation emitted from atoms or molecules as they undergo a radiative transition from an excited state to a lower energy state. After the absorption of incident radiation, the emission of a photon during the radiative transition is called photoluminescence.

Room temperature phosphorescence optosensing for gadolinium

Mikrochimica Acta, 1997
An optosensing method for gadolinium based on the room-temperature phosphorescence behavior in aqueous solution induced by the transient adsorption of the complex formed by 1,4-bis (1′-phenyl-3′-methyl-5′-pyrazolone-4′-)butanedione (1,4) with Gd (III) on the chelating resin Chelex 100 (packed in a flow cell) is proposed.

Development of a Room-Temperature Phosphorescence Fiber-Optic Sensor

Analytical Chemistry, 1996
The design of a new fiber-optic sensor based on solid-surface room-temperature phosphorimetry is presented for the analyses of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in water samples. Analytical figures of merit are given for several compounds of environmental importance.
