The Roosevelt County 079–090 meteorites
Meteoritics, 1995Abstract— We have classified 12 new, moderately to severely weathered meteorites from Roosevelt County, New Mexico (RC 079–090) that were recovered between 1969 and 1993. They include nine H chondrites and three L chondrites of petrologic types 4 to 6 and shock classification S1 to S4.

Classification of four new Roosevelt County meteorites
Meteoritics & Planetary Science, 1998Abstract— We have classified four new ordinary chondrites from Roosevelt County, New Mexico (RC 091–094) that were found in June and July of 1994 by I. Wilson. They include one H4(S2) and three L5(S4) chondrites. Degree of weathering is variable and ranges from W2–6.

A CENSUS OF THE METEORITES OF ROOSEVELT COUNTY, NEW MEXICO
Meteoritics, 1973In the five years from June, 1967, to June, 1972, a total of 99 meteorites were found in Roosevelt County, New Mexico and in adjoining Curry County. Of this number, 74 were found by one man. The finds include two achondrites, one pallasite, one carbonaceous chondrite, and 95 chondrites.

CLASSIFICATION OF TWENTY‐SIX CHONDRITES FROM ROOSEVELT COUNTY, NEW MEXICO
Meteoritics, 1987Twenty‐six of the fifty‐seven stone meteorites listed in Huss (1979) from Roosevelt County, New Mexico, have been classified in the present study. Microprobe analyses indicate 15 H type, 9 L type and 2 LL type chondrites. Based on compositional, textural, and locational comparisons, as many as 10 chondrites may be paired to three distinct falls.
