Energy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.We experimentally evaluate a rectangular latent‐heat thermal energy storage box filled with paraffin RT57. Embedding 1–3 aluminum‐foam pieces (ε ≈ 0.89 and 10 PPI) increases effective thermal conductivity, making the temperature field more uniform and accelerating phase change.
