Volumetric analysis of root coverage with porcine acellular dermal matrix: Case study

open access: yesClinical Advances in Periodontics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Gingival recession is prevalent and often treated with coronally advanced flap plus connective tissue graft (CAF+CTG). Porcine acellular dermal matrix (PADM) offers a donor‐site‐free alternative. Contemporary digital imaging allows minimally invasive, three‐dimensional (3D) soft‐tissue assessment. This case report quantified 3D soft‐

Asymptotic Variance Estimation for the Misclassification SIMEX [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Most epidemiological studies suffer from misclassification in the response and/or the covariates. Since ignoring misclassification induces bias on the parameter estimates, correction for such errors is important.

A dendrimer enhanced CRISPR/Cas12a performance for the evaluation of acidogenic capacity in cariogenic bacteria

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
A CRISPR/Cas12a‐powered dendritic DNA nanostructure is assembled to create confined enzymatic microdomains, enabling ultrasensitive detection. Integrated into a paper‐based origami biosensor, it allows equipment‐free on‐site quantification of acidogenic pathogens for the early diagnosis of dental caries.
