Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Gibberellin biosynthesis and signalling in Arabidopsis root growth [PDF]
Using targeted expression of a constitutively active repressor of GA signalling Susana Ubeda-Tomas et al., (2007) demonstrated that GA action in endodermal cells is necessary for correct root growth.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Role of auxins, polyamines and ethylene in root formation and growth in sweet orange
The primary objective of this work was to investigate the role of polyamines (PAs) on root formation and growth in two sweet orange (Citrus sinensis L. Osb.) cultivars Pineapple and Pêra. Adventitious shoots (30-d-old) derived from epicotyl explants were

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Triple superphosphate placement affects early growth of chickpea
Fertilizer placement with and close to the seed may have inhibitory effects on early growth of plants. In a pot study, chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) root growth and nodulation was assessed by placing triple superphosphate (TSP) with seed (0) and 2 or 5 ...
