An Android Data Protection Scheme for System-as-Root Architectures

2020
At present, most of the new Android devices on the market use the system-as-root architecture. Therefore, the security of personal privacy data under this architecture has become a very concerned issue for the majority of people. As for the problem, this paper proposes to build a safe ecosystem by customizing TF card. When users deal with privacy data,

Root System Architecture, Density, and Measurement

2000
The behaviour and properties of roots are central subjects in this book. A number of biochemical and physiological properties have already been described, for individual roots, in chapters 2, 5, 7, and 8. However, the macroscopic properties of root systems are of very great importance, to an extent that may not be immediately apparent from the point of

Subterranean space exploration: the development of root system architecture

Current Opinion in Plant Biology, 2012
The colonisation of terrestrial environments offered plants a host of advantages. It also presented them with major challenges. The foremost amongst these, the dichotomous nature of terrestrial environments, was clearly successfully met by the development of an integrated but divergent root-shoot structure.

Improving root–soil adaptability by modifying root system architecture in rice

Journal of Genetics and Genomics
Plant root systems serve essential roles in soil anchorage, water uptake, and nutrient acquisition. Root system architecture (RSA) refers to the spatial arrangement of the root system in the soil, reflecting the geometric arrangement of root axes and the structure, morphology, and anatomy of root branches.

The root meristem and its relationship to root system architecture

1998
In a typical herbaceous plant, the root apical meristems constitute about one millionth of the whole root system. Yet, these meristems are responsible for generating the whole root system and its architecture. This paper presents a developmental biologist’s perspective of how the root apical meristem is formed, how patterning information is generated ...

Genomic basis determining root system architecture in maize

Theoretical and Applied Genetics
A total of 389 and 344 QTLs were identified by GWAS and QTL mapping explaining accumulatively 32.2-65.0% and 23.7-63.4% of phenotypic variation for 14 shoot-borne root traits using more than 1300 individuals across multiple field trails. Efficient nutrient and water acquisition from soils depends on the root system architecture (RSA).

Mediator complex: an important regulator of root system architecture

Journal of Experimental Botany
Abstract Mediator, a multiprotein complex, is an important component of the transcription machinery. In plants, the latest studies have established that it functions as a signal processor that conveys transcriptional signals from transcription factors to RNA polymerase II. Mediator has been found to be involved in different developmental
