n!, ROOTS, LIMITS, AND PRODUCTS
PRIMUS, 1993ABSTRACT This paper is meant to offer Calculus teachers and students an occasion to ask some questions and look for connections between several ideas. When faced with the problem of finding an unusual limit, such as limn→∞ , one might need to employ unusual techniques. While the recourse to these techniques might increase the chance of making mistakes,

Hairy Root Cultures for Secondary Metabolites Production
2010Hairy roots (HRs) are differentiated cultures of transformed roots generated by the infection of wounded higher plants with Agrobacterium rhizogenes. This pathogen causes the HR disease leading to the neoplastic growth of roots that are characterized by high growth rate in hormone free media and genetic stability.

Root production and root turnover in two dominant species of wet heathlands
Oecologia, 1989Root biomass production, root length production and root turnover of Erica tetralix and Molinia caerulea were estimated by sequential core sampling and by observations in permanent minirhizotrons in the field. Root biomass production, estimated by core sampling, was 370 (Erica) and 1080 (Molinia) g m-2 yr-1.

Psoralen production in hairy roots and adventitious roots cultures of Psoralea coryfolia
Biotechnology Letters, 2009Psoralea corylifolia is an endangered plant producing various compounds of medical importance. Adventitious roots and hairy roots were induced in cultures prepared from hypocotyl explants. Psoralen content was evaluated in both root types grown either in suspension cultures or on agar solidified medium.

ROOT PRODUCTION AND THE ESTIMATION OF NET PRODUCTIVITY
Canadian Journal of Botany, 1963Data on the net production of oven-dry organic matter from 28 temperate angiosperm herbaceous species and 4 temperate arboreal species were analyzed to determine the relationship between below-ground and above-ground yearly increment. Mean yearly net herbaceous production (t/ha) was 3.9 for below-ground parts, 5.9 for above-ground parts, and 9.8 total.

Corona products and rooted products of soft graphs
Discrete Mathematics, Algorithms and ApplicationsSoft set theory is a broad mathematical method for handling uncertain data. Numerous scholars are now using soft set theory to address problems related to decision-making. The concept of soft graphs provides a parameterized point of view for graphs. In graph theory, graph products are binary operations on graphs with various combinatorial purposes. We

The Populist Roots of Mass Production
2020This chapter traces mass production to its beginnings in the United States, where it emerged from the distinctive ideology of Midwestern populism. Why did Detroit, of all places, pioneer the industry that would shape the twentieth century like no other?
