Distance‐Dependent Energy Transfer Between Organic Fluorophores and Single‐Walled Carbon Nanotubes

We demonstrate that the dsDNA part adopts a perpendicular orientation to the SWCNT and present a distance‐dependent energy transfer of single fluorescent dyes to SWCNTs. Carbon nanotube energy transfer (CNET) obeys a d−5 distance dependence with a characteristic distance of 7.4 nm (± 0.7 nm) for 50 % energy transfer.

Spin–orbit interaction (SOI) of light is exploited to generate helicity‐dependent complex rotational and revolution dynamics in optical tweezers. At the trap center, particle rotation is governed by the direct helicity that follows the input polarization.

Abstract Atmospheric rivers (ARs) constitute a global, interconnected highway network rather than isolated regional events. In boreal summer, cross‐Pacific ARs originate over Southeast Asia, are fueled by subtropical outflows from the Asian monsoon plume, transport warm, moist air across the North Pacific, and make landfall in North America (NA).
