131I-Rose Bengal therapy in hepatoblastoma patients

European Journal of Cancer and Clinical Oncology, 1991
If conventional treatment modalities have failed in hepatoblastoma patients and no distant metastases can be demonstrated therapy with radionuclide agents can be considered. In 6 patients diagnostic technetium-99m (99mTc)-disofenin and two iodine-131 (131I)-rose bengal scans were made. 2 patients demonstrated specific uptake of disofenin.

Influence of Rose Bengal Dimerization on Photosensitization

Photochemistry and Photobiology, 2021
AbstractProtein crosslinking photosensitized by rose Bengal (RB2−) has multiple medical applications and understanding the photosensitization mechanism can improve treatment effectiveness. To this end, we investigated the photochemical efficiencies of monomeric RB2− (RBM2−) and dimeric RB2− (RBD2−) and the optimal pH for anaerobic RB2 ...

UV-irradiated photocatalytic performance of yttrium doped ceria for hazardous Rose Bengal dye

Applications of Surface Science, 2019
Present work reports the influence of defects in the form of oxygen vacancies (VO) on ferromagnetic behaviour and photocatalytic activity of yttrium (Y) doped Ce1-xYxO2-δ (where x = 0, 0.02, 0.03 and 0.05) samples.

Still confused about rose bengal?

Current Eye Research, 2004
We have surveyed the ophthalmic literature of the last five years in an attempt to evaluate the use and usefulness of Rose Bengal staining as an aid to differential diagnosis in dry eyes. Included both as a criterion and as an adjunct measure of disease progression, Rose Bengal scores of patients with different dry eye conditions overlap, sometimes to ...

Rotational diffusion of rose bengal

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1995
Picosecond time resolved fluorescence depolarization spectroscopy has been used to measure the rotational reorientation times of rose bengal as a function of viscosity. The variation of viscosity has been effected in two different ways—using different solvents and different compositions of aqueous binary mixtures.

Recent advances in photocatalytic manipulations of Rose Bengal in organic synthesis.

Organic and biomolecular chemistry, 2019
In the last few years, organic dyes have been utilized as an attractive alternative to transition metal catalyzed photocatalysis. Rose Bengal, an organic dye has been widely applied as a photocatalyst in organic synthesis due to its low cost and easy ...
