A first look at phototransferred thermoluminescence of rose quartz

open access: yesRadiation Measurements
We report a preliminary study of phototransferred thermoluminescence (PTTL) induced by 470 nm light source in rose quartz. The glow curve corresponding to 1 Gy consists of five peaks at 76, 115, 180, 290 and 423 °C labelled I through V in that order.

Fibrous nanoinclusions in massive rose quartz: The origin of rose coloration

open access: yesAmerican Mineralogist, 2001
Pink nanofibers were extracted from rose quartz from 29 different pegmatitic and massive vein localities throughout the world. Their width varied from 0.1 to 0.5 μm. On the basis of optical absorption spectra of the fibers and the initial rose quartz, we

A trapped-hole center causing rose coloration of natural quartz

open access: yesZeitschrift Fur Kristallographie - Crystalline Materials, 1983
In rose-colored natural quartz crystals two new hole centers were detected and analyzed by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). A hole center with characteristic doublet and sextet hyperfine structures was identified as an O− ion bridging between a ...

Study on the Component and Distribution Characteristics of Needle-like Inclusions in Rose Quartz

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2018
BACKGROUND The needle-like inclusions in rose quartz are considered to be rutile or dumortierite, and their orientation is related to the c-axis. However, there is no consensus on this statement.

Effect of the Release of Gravel Elements on Soil Nutrients and Jujube Fruit Yield under Wet-and-Dry Cycles

open access: yesAgronomy, 2022
This study sought to evaluate the potential of mulched gravel to release nutrients in the field by conducting trials with three variations of wet-and-dry cycling of the soil beneath gravel mulch and bare soil. The results revealed that quartz, muscovite,
