Rotary Friction Welding of Dissimilar Steels: Review
Friction welding is an assembly process that has become increasingly common in industry in recent years. Rotary friction welding is one type of friction welding and is very simple to use. This process is used to join similar and dissimilar metals. This review will focus on its application for welding dissimilar steels.

ABSTRACT The limited crack resistance of coarse grain boundaries and coarse interfaces leads to an incompatibility between high‐temperature strength and ductility in TiAl alloys. Tailoring stress‐oriented textures and multiscale heterogeneous interfaces can effectively impede crack propagation, thereby overcoming this trade‐off.

Physical Anchoring‐Assisted Mechanically Guided Assembly for Material‐Independent 3D Mesostructures
Conventional mechanically guided 3D assembly relies on selective chemical bonding between 2D precursors and elastomeric substrates, imposing fundamental limitations on material compatibility and scalability. Here, we present a physically anchored, buckling‐guided assembly platform based on a rod array patterned elastomeric substrate (RPES).
