This work integrates 5 years of field data from the Aquistore CCS project with a non‐isothermal THM modeling framework to explain how cold CO2 injection alters injectivity over time. The study shows that sustained cooling near the wellbore reduces effective stresses, promotes tensile micro‑cracking, and leads to semi‑reversible permeability enhancement

Free vibration response of a multilayer smart hybrid composite plate with embedded SMA wires
In this paper, free vibration response of a hybrid composite plate was studied. Effects of some geometrical, physical and material parameters on response of the composite plates embedded with shape memory alloy (SMA) wires were investigated, which have ...

ABSTRACT Rocking podium isolation systems have gained significant research interest as a method of limiting seismic demands on superstructures and eliminating residual post‐earthquake drifts through self‐centring behaviour. However, while numerous models of varying complexity, including analytical, phenomenological, and physical formulations, have been

Climate Driven Water Table Changes and Their Influence on Liquefaction Response of Integral Bridges
ABSTRACT Integral abutment bridges (IABs) eliminate bearings and joints but transfer seismic demand directly into the surrounding soil, making their response highly sensitive to groundwater conditions and soil–structure interaction. This study presents a 60 g centrifuge testing programme on single‐span IABs designed to isolate the influence of water ...

This study innovates a Ca2+‐responsive hydrogel dressing that releases AIE photosensitizers on‐demand. Low Ca2+ enhances bacterial hyaluronidase (HAase) activity, degrading hyaluronic acid dressing to trigger antibacterial ROS release, while high Ca2+ inhibits HAase, preventing overdosing.

Vibration analysis of tapered rotating composite beams using the hierarchical finite element
A hierarchical finite element model is presented for the flapwise bending vibration analysis of a tapered rotating multi-layered composite beam. The shear and rotary inertia effects are considered based on the higher shear deformation theory to derive ...
