Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Stability of viscous flow between rotating cylinders. II. Cylinders rotating in opposite directions [PDF]
Abstract In a previous paper (Meksyn 1946; it will be referred to as Part I) the problem of stability of viscous fluid between coaxial cylinders, rotating in the same direction, was solved by expanding the integrals in inverse powers of a large parameter.

Transient free convection flow past an accelerated vertical cylinder in a rotating fluid
The flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past an accelerated vertical circular cylinder in a rotating fluid is analyzed in this study. The cylinder starts impulsively from rest with uniform acceleration in its own plane relative to the rotating fluid ...

The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.
