The flow in a rotating curved pipe with circular cross section is investigated theoretically and numerically. A perturbation solution up to the second order is obtained. A numerical procedure is used to solve the full governing equations and the simplified governing equations in the small curvature limit.

Robust rotations between anatomical curves

We give a method for estimating the optimal rotation between anatomical curves corrupted by segmentation noise. We formulate the energy function probabilistically and use an annealing algorithm with explicit outlier rejection to stabilize our solution.
