We theoretically analyzed the rotational behavior of beam–column dovetail joints in traditional Chinese timber frames in this study. An analytical model of dovetail joints at both the column head and body was designed by clarifying the moment generation ...

Abnormal Stop Band Behavior Induced by Rotational Resonance in Flexural Metamaterial [PDF]
This paper investigates abnormal stop band behavior of resonance-based flexural elastic metamaterials under the rotational resonance motion. Due to the unique physics of flexural waves, we found that the stop band generated by the rotational resonance ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Randomly interacting bosons, mean-fields and L=0 ground states [PDF]
Random interactions are used to investigate to what extent the low-lying behavior of even-even nuclei depend on particular nucleon-nucleon interactions. The surprising results that were obtained for the interacting boson model, i.e.

Day/night variations of myeloid and lymphoid cell subsets in the murine inguinal lymph node
The circadian system is involved in the temporal regulation of the immune system. Our study reveals that two innate immune populations, NKT cells and neutrophils, predominate at the beginning of the day in healthy mice, highlighting how the time of day influences immune responses.
