Numerical Simulation of Helicopter Blade Bullet Penetration in Maneuvering State

open access: yesHangkong gongcheng jinzhan, 2019
The study on the impact damage of helicopter rotor blade under maneuvering condition is of important significance. Based on the rotor blade of a certain type of machine, a numerical simulation method of projectile attack on the rotor blade under the ...

A Study on Influence of Flapping Dynamic Characteristics on Vibration Control of Active Rotor with Trailing-Edge Flaps

open access: yesAerospace, 2023
An active rotor with trailing-edge flaps (TEFs) is an effective active vibration control method for helicopters. Blade flapping dynamic characteristics have a significant effect on the active vibration control performance of an active rotor.

Hingeless helicopter rotor with improved stability [PDF]

open access: yes, 1976
Improved stability was provided in a hingeless helicopter rotor by inclining the principal elastic flexural axes and coupling pitching of the rotor blade with the lead-lag bending of the blade.

Targeting the ARRDC3–DRP1 Axis via hUMSC‐Derived Exosomal CRYAB for Neuroprotection in Cerebral Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Intranasally administered hUMSC‐derived exosomes modulate the CRYAB–ARRDC3–Drp1 axis, alleviating mitochondrial dysfunction and ferroptosis, enhancing neuronal survival, reducing oxidative stress, and promoting functional recovery in ischemia‐reperfusion injury, offering a promising therapeutic strategy for ischemic stroke.

Vision‐Assisted Avocado Harvesting with Aerial Bimanual Manipulation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work outlines the design and implementation of a bimanual aerial robot that employs visual perception and learning to detect, reach, and harvest avocados. A new gripper and fixer arm assembly is used to harvest avocados, while visual perception enables the detection of avocados and estimation of their position and orientation for determining ...

Numerical Study on the Flow Mechanism of Compressor Rotor Blade Vibration under Different Inlet Probe Configurations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2020
In the performance test of a compressor, the overstrain alarm of a rotor blade occurred and it was thought to be caused by a large-sized inlet probe.

PENGARUH KEMIRINGAN STRAIGHT BLADE TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN SELF-STARTING TURBIN HIDROKINETIK ARTICULATING H-ROTOR

open access: yesTeknika, 2021
The Articulating of H-Rotor is a development of the turbine from H-Darrieus which has a straight blade tilted with the aim of correcting poor self-starting due to the dominance of lift force. How likely is the influence of straight blade slope on turbine

Collision‐Resilient Winged Drones Enabled by Tensegrity Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Based on structures of birds such as the woodpeck, this article presents the collision‐resilient aerial robot, SWIFT. SWIFT leverages tensegrity structures in the fuselage and wings which allow it to undergo large deformations in a crash, without sustaining damage. Experiments show that SWIFT can reduce impact forces by 70% over conventional structures.

Development of an aeroelastic stability boundary for a rotor in autorotation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
<p>For the present study, a mathematical model AMRA was created to simulate the aeroelastic behaviour of a rotor during autorotation. Our model: Aeroelastic Model of a Rotor in Autorotation (AMRA) captures transverse bending and teeter ...

TreeSpider: In‐Canopy Exploration With Tether‐Based Aerial Modular Arms

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A tethered drone with perching arms and a 360° ring enables unprecedented maneuverability within dense forest canopies. By dynamically adjusting tether length and decoupling pitch from the frame, it navigates between branches, senses multiple trees, and interacts physically with foliage.
