Coupled rotor-body equations of motion hover flight [PDF]

open access: yes
A set of linearized equations of motion to predict the linearized dynamic response of a single rotor helicopter in a hover trim condition to cyclic pitch control inputs is described.

Targeting m6A Reader YTHDF1 Enhances Antitumor Immunity and Potentiates Anti‐PD‐L1 Efficacy in Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The m6A reader YTHDF1 drives intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) progression by remodeling the tumor immune microenvironment. YTHDF1 promotes MDSC recruitment via activation of m6A‐FOSL2‐CXCL6/CXCR2 axis, thereby suppressing CD8+ T cell infiltration and function.

Enzymatic DNA Reaction Networks for Orchestrating Stimuli‐Dependent Temporal Molecular Pulse

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present an enzymatic DNA reaction network (EDRN) that encodes nucleic‐acid targets in time, converting inputs into a universal strand and then into programmable transient fluorescence pulses. With time‐color multiplexing, EDRN enables single‐tube high‐plex nucleic acid detection and shows strong agreement with clinical sequencing across 32 specimens.

Analytical and experimental study of vibrations in a gear transmission [PDF]

open access: yes
An analytical simulation of the dynamics of a gear transmission system is presented and compared to experimental results from a gear noise test rig at the NASA Lewis Research Center. The analytical procedure developed couples the dynamic behaviors of the

Kinesin‐Induced Buckling Reveals the Limits of Microtubule Self‐Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that kinesin‐driven buckling induces extensive microtubule lattice damage that often exceeds intrinsic self‐repair and leads to filament failure. While curvature, motor motility, and force individually cause limited damage, their combination overwhelms repair.

Alzheimer's Disease Risk Factor APOE4 Exerts Dimorphic Effects on Female Bone

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In aging bone, osteocytes accumulate neurodegenerative risk factor Apolipoprotein E (APOE). A humanized version of the Alzheimer's disease risk allele APOE4 altered the mouse bone transcriptome and proteome, with effects in female bone surpassing the brain, including bone fragility due to suppressed osteocytic maintenance of bone quality, identifying ...
