Hingeless rotor dynamics in coordinated turns
31st Structures, Structural Dynamics and Materials Conference, 1990This paper describes the results of a numerical study of the aeroelastic stability and response of a soft-in-plane, hingeless rotor helicopter undergoing a coordinated steady turn. The combined effects of turn rate, aircraft speed, flight path angle, and direction of turn are discussed.

2010Dynamic modeling of rotors is usually performed under the assumption that the rotating parts of the machine are axially symmetrical, while the non-rotating ones may have no particular symmetry properties. The rotor model, based on the FEM, can be reduced in modal form and then assembled in the FEM model of the stator of the machine.
