Electric Drive Control with Rotor Resistance and Rotor Speed Observers Based on Fuzzy Logic [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, 2014
Many scientific researchers have proposed the control of the induction motor without speed sensor. These methods have the disadvantage that the variation of the rotor resistance causes an error of estimating the motor speed. Thus, simultaneous estimation of the rotor resistance and the motor speed is required.

Singularity-free quantum tracking control of molecular rotor orientation

open access: yes, 2018
Quantum tracking control aims to identify applied fields to steer the expectation values of particular observables along desired paths in time. The associated temporal fields can be identified by inverting the underlying dynamical equations for the ...

Wireless energy harvesting for rotor instrumentation in electrical machines [PDF]

open access: yes8th IET International Conference on Power Electronics, Machines and Drives (PEMD 2016), 2016
In order to perform experiments on electrical machines, it is desirable to measure rotor parameters such as currents and temperatures. A Bluetooth module have been developed which sends data from the rotor, however this module is battery powered, and therefore the duration of the tests is limited.

Mesenchymal Stem Cells‐Derived Extracellular Vesicles Mimetics as Osteoinductive Mediators for Bone Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Mesenchymal stem cell‐derived nanoghosts (MSC‐NGs) mimic naturally secreted extracellular vesicles (MSC‐EVs) in structure and physicochemical properties but can be synthesized at more translatable yields. As osteogenic agents, MSC‐NGs demonstrate superior outcomes compared to MSC‐EVs.

An Aerial–Aquatic Hitchhiking Robot with Remora‐Inspired Tactile Sensors and Thrust Vectoring Units

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView., 2023
An untethered aerial–aquatic hitchhiking robot that can be remotely controlled for flying, swimming, and transiting air–water boundaries rapidly (0.16 s), is presented. Notably, it can autonomously attach to various surfaces in both air and water environments using a remora‐inspired suction disc with flexible tactile sensors.
