Position estimation in induction machines utilizing rotor bar slot harmonics and carrier frequency signal injection [PDF]
This paper presents a simple and robust way of utilizing harmonic saliencies for the estimation of rotor position. A carrier frequency voltage excitation is used to produce a carrier frequency current, which contains the desired spatial information. A closed-loop, tracking observer is then used to estimate the rotor position.

Fully 3D‐Printed Wave‐Wound Electromagnetic Motors
This work presents the first fully 3D‐printed wave‐wound electromagnetic motors, which are created using conductive nanoparticle inks, carbon‐filled nylon polymers, and surface mount components. These motors can achieve a stall torque of 7.62N·mmA−1$7.62 \nobreakspace N{\cdot }mm A^{-1}$ and efficiency of 28.2 %, which approaches the performance of ...

Space Harmonics Elimination for Fractional-Slot Windings With Two-Slot Coil Pitch
Recently, fractional-slot windings with two-slot coil pitch are receiving more and more attention due to their lower space harmonic contents in stator magnetomotive force (MMF) compared with the widely-used fractional-slot nonoverlapping counterparts. To
