Fe–Ca‐Catalyzed Conversion of Cellulose Into Highly Ordered Graphitic Carbon Revealed by Solid‐State 13C NMR and Mössbauer Spectroscopy

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
New insights into the mechanism of the structural transformation of cellulose into highly ordered graphitic carbon using an Fe–Ca bimetallic catalyst were obtained through complementary spectroscopic techniques, including Raman, solid‐state NMR, and Mössbauer.

Dynamic behaviour of high-speed rotor

open access: yes, 2017
High-speed electrical motors are increasing the application fields where they are used, and vehicle applications are one of them. These motors offer advantages when compared to conventional ones, mainly because of the fact that they offer a high power in a relative small size. For that reason, their application in mobility systems is increasingly under

Asymmetric Activation of Tropos Biphenolic Moieties by Isohexides: An Integrated Computational‐Experimental Approach

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The integrated experimental‐computational study on the asymmetric activation exerted by isohexides on tropos tetra‐aryl moieties embedded in a chiral macrocyclic architecture resulted in a complete definition of the stereochemical as well as stereodynamic features of the macrocyclic final compounds.

Reverse Engineering and Performance Evaluation of a Pump Impeller Fabricated With Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
This study explores the process chain for reverse engineering and additive manufacturing of a water pump impeller in a process plant. Key aspects include digital twin creation, CAD redesign, material certification, Hirtisation postprocessing, and performance testing. Insights highlight iterative design for improved precision and reliability.

Decolorization of Disperse Dyes in Textile Polyester Recycling Using Activated Carbon

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
Decolorization of disperse dyes from disodium terephthalate solutions is examined using two activated carbons with varying pore structures and surface properties. The potential impact of pore size distribution and surface charge on the adsorption process is assessed to support optimized adsorbent selection.
