The Biology of Rotylenchulus Parvus 1)

Nematologica, 1968
Rotylenchulus parvus (Williams) completed its life cycle from egg to egg in 27-36 days at 24-28°C through four molts, the first of which occurred within the egg. After ecdysis and without feeding, the second-stage larvae went through three superimposed molts. Barley, blackeye cowpea, Bermuda grass, corn, red kidney bean were favorable hosts.

Effects of irradiation on the reproduction of Rotylenchulus reniformis

Nematology, 2018
Rotylenchulus reniformis is an agricultural pest of economic and regulatory importance. The effects of irradiation on second-stage juveniles (J2) of R. reniformis were evaluated in a glasshouse bioassay. Nematodes were irradiated in an aqueous solution in plastic tubes within cored Ipomoea batatas roots.

Histology of the Feeding Site of Rotylenchulus Reniformis

Nematologica, 1973
The histology of the permanent feeding site of Rotylenchulus reniformis was studied in roots of inoculated seedlings of upland cotton, tomato and mint. The nematode fed in the stelar region and the most outstanding host reactions were hypertrophy of pericycle cells and a thickening of cell walls in the endodermis.
