In this study, we produced HfN‐based nanoparticles via femtosecond laser ablation in acetone. The nanoparticles exhibit a red‐shifted plasmonic resonance in the NIR‐I window, colloidal stability after coating with polyethyleneglycol, and excellent biocompatibility. The photothermal and X‐ray sensitization therapeutic effects were demonstrated for tumor

Quantum computing approach for multi-objective routing and spectrum assignment optimization
Optimization problems are fundamental in a wide range of fields, including telecommunications, where efficient resource allocation is critical to ensure good network performance and high scalability. In the context of elastic optical networks (EONs), the multi-objective routing and spectrum assignment (MO-RSA) problem represents a key challenge, as it ...

Nanosecond pulse laser texturing yields superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic AA2024 surfaces. Salt‐spray tests show that periodic superhydrophobic patterns suppress pitting, whereas superhydrophilic textures enhance it, linking laser‐induced morphology, wettability, and oxide chemistry to corrosion resistance.
