Wavelength‐ and Helicity‐Reconfigurable Circularly Polarized Optical Diodes Enabled by Molecular Photoswitches

All‐optical, photoswitchable diode‐type device for tunable nonreciprocal (asymmetric) transmission of CPL across a broad spectrum of light is demonstrated using molecular motor (photoswitch)‐doped cholesteric liquid crystals (CLCs) sandwiched between polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polydopamine (PDA)‐PVA composite layers.

A plasmonic–photothermal–photocatalytic hybrid comprising Cu(II)‐grafted TiO2, yolk–shell Au@SiO2, and reduced graphene oxide sheets (CuT/AuSi‐GS) harvests full‐spectrum white light‐emitting diode (LED) light via complementary photocatalytic oxidation, localized surface‐plasmon‐resonance‐induced electric‐field enhancement, and photothermal acceleration.

Poly(Alkoxythiophene) Rod‐Coil Block Copolymers for Organic Electrochemical Transistors

We present the first synthesis of poly(3‐alkoxythiophene) rod‐coil block copolymers as a new architecture for OMIECs. Incorporating PEG and PLLA coils can enhance device performance beyond the homopolymer. The figure‐of‐merit depends uniquely on coil length.

Elasticity‐Driven Periodic Polarization Patterns in a Chiral Ferroelectric Nematic Fluid

Chiral polar ferroelectric nematic fluids exhibit spontaneous formation of stripe, square, and hexagonal polarization textures under confinement. Controlled by thickness and anchoring, these patterns produce spatially modulated nonlinear optical responses.
