Energy optimization and Performance Analysis of Cluster Based Routing Protocols Extended from LEACH for WSNs [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2013
An energy efficient routing protocol is the major attentiveness for researcher in field of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). In this paper, we present some energy efficient hierarchal routing protocols, prosper from conventional Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) routing protocol.

KupferDigital: Ontology‐Based Digital Representation for the Copper Life Cycle

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
It is demonstrated how data from different stages in the life cycle of a copper product can be stored in an ontology‐based data space. In order to showcase the methods and tools used in the project, four use cases are presented that show how data from different sources can be semantically described and queried from a shared data space.

Routing Protocols Based on Ant Colony Optimization in Wireless Sensor Networks: A Survey

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
Routing is one of the important topics in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), and has been attracting the research community in the last decade. Routing based on ant colony optimization (ACO) is a type of transmission method rich in characteristics.

Service re-routing for service network graph: efficiency, scalability and implementation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The key to success in Next Generation Network is service routing in which service requests may need to be redirected as in the case of the INVITE request in Session Initiation Protocol. Service Path (SPath) holds the authentication and server paths along

Evaluating Wireless Proactive Routing Protocols under Scalability and Traffic Constraints [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2012
In this paper, we evaluate and analyze the impact of different network loads and varying no. of nodes on distance vector and link state routing algorithms. We select three well known proactive protocols; Destination Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV) operates on distance vector routing, while Fisheye State Routing (FSR) and Optimized Link State Routing ...

Comparison of MANET Routing Protocols in Different Traffic and Mobility Models [PDF]

open access: yesTelfor Journal, 2010
Routing protocol election in MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network) is a great challenge, because of its frequent topology changes and routing overhead. This paper compares performances of three routing protocols: Destination Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV), Ad ...

GRB: Greedy Routing Protocol with Backtracking for Mobile Ad Hoc Network (Extended Version) [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
Routing protocols for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) have been extensively studied for more than fifteen years. Position-based routing protocols route packets towards the destination using greedy forwarding (i.e., an intermediate node forwards packets to a neighbor that is closer to the destination than itself).

Enhancing the Versatility of Photocrosslinkable Silk Fibroin Using an Eco‐Friendly Solvent

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Silk fibroin modified with photoreactive groups enables liquid‐to‐solid transitions under light, allowing precise structural control for biofabrication. Using a sustainable calcium chloride‐ethanol‐water solvent, a novel photofibroin (PF) is shown for light‐based manufacturing like 3D printing, forming cytocompatible hydrogels for regenerative medicine.

Modeling Routing Overhead Generated by Wireless Reactive Routing Protocols [PDF]

open access: yes17th Asia-Pacific Conference on Communications (APCC2011), 2011
In this paper, we have modeled the routing over- head generated by three reactive routing protocols; Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) and DYnamic MANET On-deman (DYMO). Routing performed by reactive protocols consists of two phases; route discovery and route maintenance.
