Systemic Inflammatory Response Index Is Associated With Insufficient Weight Loss After Bariatric Surgery

World Journal of Surgery, EarlyView.
SIRI is significantly associated with obesity severity both before and after bariatric surgery, highlighting its value as a marker of systemic inflammation in this population. SIRI decreases significantly 1 year after bariatric surgery, indicating a measurable improvement in inflammatory status following substantial weight loss.
