Advanced Science, EarlyView.This study uncovers a tri‐directional interplay among cells, hydrogels, and their nascent extracellular matrix. Hydrogel norbornene modification alters CD44‐mediated cell–hydrogel interactions, which shape nascent matrix deposition, composition, and spatial organization.
