Scalable RDMA RPC on Reliable Connection with Efficient Resource Sharing
European Conference on Computer Systems, 2019RDMA provides extremely low latency and high bandwidth to distributed systems. Unfortunately, it fails to scale and suffers from performance degradation when transferring data to an increasing number of targets on Reliable Connection (RC).

Over the past twenty years high strength concrete and reactive powder concrete (RPC) have been investigated by many researchers. At present, preliminary experiments to produce RPC are in progress in Croatia. The preliminary investigation described in this paper involved testing of concrete mixtures having different concrete components.

In this paper, we will describe a new programming framework call U-RPC to ensure a fault tolerant distributed computing system by using Distributed Hash Table (DHT). DHT is widely used in P2P networks as a scalable mechanism to store and get data since many years ago.

Structural Concrete
Based on an analysis of the literature on fiber‐reinforced concrete (FRC), especially the development and formation of various types of FRC combined with reactive powder concrete (RPC) in recent years, this paper systematically expounds the research ...

Abstract A fast first level muon trigger, developed for and used in experiment E771 at Fermilab, for selecting events containing high energy muons, is described. The trigger finds events by matching the hits information received from three planes of Resistive Plate Counters (RPC).

Abstract The Resistive Plate Chamber detectors (RPC) proposed in the '80s had time resolution of the order of ns, the spatial resolution of the order of cm and counting capability of tens of Hz/cm2. These detectors underwent since then a great improvement in their performances.

Study of RPC gas composition using Daya Bay RPCs
Chinese Physics C, 2010This study uses Daya Bay RPCs operating in streamer mode to investigate gas mixtures of at least 50% argon, at most 6% isobutane, and with small amounts of SF6. Isobutane is reduced to 2% without degradation of performance, and SF6 reduces the noise rate and current, as well as the signal size.

RPC: The Rosetta Plasma Consortium
Space Science Reviews, 2007The Rosetta Plasma Consortium (RPC) will make in-situ measurements of the plasma environment of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. The consortium will provide the complementary data sets necessary for an understanding of the plasma processes in the inner coma, and the structure and evolution of the coma with the increasing cometary activity. Aging measurements on glass RPCs
IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 2003Resistive plate chambers (RPC) are widely used as active elements in particle physics detectors. A deterioration of RPC performance with time has been observed in several experiments, after operation at high temperature or with water contamination in the gas mixture, both for detectors with bakelite electrodes and for the ones with float-glass ...
