A general model and mechanisms for model-level heterogeneous RPC interoperability
Heterogeneous RPC systems may interoperate in a number of different ways. Interoperability at the level of communications, system, data-representation and so forth is RPC-environment-level. The paper addresses a different, namely, RPC-model-level, form of interoperability.

Application of RPC model for InSAR phase evaluation
2011 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2011InSAR is a technique to extract three-dimensional information on the terrain topography from the phase of the SAR signal and the rational polynomial coefficient (RPC) model has raised considerable interest in the photogrammetry and remote sensing communities. Some work has been done on the RPC model's substitutability for the SAR rigorous sensor model,

RPC model generation from the physical sensor model
SPIE Proceedings, 2004The rational polynomial coefficients (RPC) model is a generalized sensor model that is used as an alternative for the physical sensor model for IKONOS of the Space Imaging. As the number of sensors increases along with greater complexity, and as the need for standard sensor model has become important, the applicability of the RPC model is also ...

Application of RPC Model in Orthorectification of Spaceborne SAR Imagery
The Photogrammetric Record, 2012AbstractIt has been widely accepted that the rational polynomial coefficient (RPC) model can be used as an alternative to rigorous sensor models of high resolution optical satellites for photogrammetric processing. In the application of the RPC model to synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image processing, it has been confirmed that the range‐Doppler model ...

Orientation of Spaceborne SAR Stereo Pairs Employing the RPC Adjustment Model
IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2011Since the adoption of the rational polynomial coefficient (RPC) adjustment model as a preferred sensor orientation model for high-resolution optical satellite imagery, it has been demonstrated to be effective and robust. However, no publication discusses the application of the RPC adjustment model to the 3-D intersection from SAR stereoscopic pairs ...
