Highlights of Astronomy, 1980
Some twenty years have passed since the decision was taken by the General Assembly of IAU in 1958 to resume a regular control of light variation stability in RR Lyrae stars. With this end in view the revision of elements is carried out at the Odessa Astronomical Observatory yearly, whereas ephemerides of RR Lyrae stars are published at the Krakov ...

Proper motions of 64 RR Lyrae variable stars
Chinese Astronomy, 1979Abstract The relative proper motions of 64 RR Lyrae variables are determined using Turner's method. The first-epoch positions are taken from the Carte du Ciel Astrographic Catalogue, while the second-epoch positions are measured positions from plates taken with the 40-cm refractor ( f =6.9 m) of the Zo-Se Section, Shanghai Observatory, in 1962–1965 ...

Subsystems of RR Lyrae variable stars in our Galaxy
Astronomy Reports, 2002We have used published, high-accuracy, ground-based and satellite proper-motion measurements, a compilation of radial velocities, and photometric distances to compute the spatial velocities and Galactic orbital elements for 174 RR Lyrae (ab) variable stars in the solar neighborhood.

A possible new RR Lyrae variable star
Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1984UBV observations and a light curve are presented for a new variable star, chosen to be a companion star for the very hot degenerate dwarf PG 1520 + 525, and these data are found to be consistent with the interpretation that the new variable is a halo RR Lyrae variable of Bailey's type 'c'.

Three-dimensional motion of dwarf stars and RR Lyrae variables
Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1979A collection of 220 high-velocity dwarfs, 532 low-velocity dwarfs, and 114 RR Lyrae variables is given in tables with calculations of kinematical quantities in a three-dimensional model of galactic space. A metal indicator, Delta-S, for RR Lyrae variables is transformed into the ultraviolet excess, delta (0.6), which is utilized for a statistical study
