Strong earthquake recurrence interval in the southern segment of the Red River Fault, southwestern China

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2023
Along the southeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau, an important boundary fault, known as the Red River Fault (RRF), formed during the extrusion of mantle and lower crustal materials beneath the Tibetan Plateau.

Nomogram model based on clinical factors and autonomic nervous system activity for predicting residual renal function decline in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis

open access: yesFrontiers in Neuroscience
BackgroundSeveral heart rate variability (HRV) parameters were reported to be associated with residual renal function (RRF) in patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD).

The Effect of Residual Renal Function on Clinical and Laboratory Parameters in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients

open access: yesHaseki Tıp Bülteni, 2020
Aim:To evaluate the effects of residual renal function (RRF) on anemia treatment, phosphorus control and nutritional parameters in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients. Methods:PD patients were retrospectively analyzed.

Incremental Peritoneal Dialysis Favourably Compares with Hemodialysis as a Bridge to Renal Transplantation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Nephrology, 2011
Background. The value of incremental peritoneal dialysis (PD) as a bridge to renal transplantation (Tx) has not been specifically addressed. Methods. All consecutive Stage 5 CKD patients with at least 1 year predialysis followup, starting incremental PD ...

Ribosome recycling is not critical for translational coupling in Escherichia coli

open access: yeseLife, 2020
We used ribosome profiling to characterize the biological role of ribosome recycling factor (RRF) in Escherichia coli. As expected, RRF depletion leads to enrichment of post-termination 70S complexes in 3′-UTRs.

MINRbase: a comprehensive database of nuclear- and mitochondrial-ribosomal-RNA-derived fragments (rRFs)

open access: yesNucleic Acids Research, 2023
Abstract We describe the Mitochondrial and Nuclear rRNA fragment database (MINRbase), a knowledge repository aimed at facilitating the study of ribosomal RNA-derived fragments (rRFs). MINRbase provides interactive access to the profiles of 130 238 expressed rRFs arising from the four human nuclear rRNAs (18S, 5.8S, 28S, 5S), two ...

Reduced Reference Frame Transformation Assessment in Unbalanced Three-Phase Four-Wire Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Three-phase four-wire systems require a reference frame similar to that used in 3-phase 3-wire system configurations that allow them to be easily analysed, modelled and controlled.

EFFECT OF A RESTRICTED REACTION FIELD (RRF) ON ENZYMATIC REACTIONS [PDF]

open access: yesChemistry Letters, 1985
Abstract The effect of a restricted reaction field (RRF) on activities of cytosolic and microsomal aminopeptidase was investigated. Activity of cytosolic enzyme increased with decrease in the space width of the RRF, while activity of microsomal enzyme was found to be sensitive to the nature of the surface of the RRF.

Europeanization and domestic governance of the RRF

open access: yesQuaderns IEE
This article analyzes the governance mechanism chosen by Italy and Spain to implement their National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The focus is on two factors that are crucial when it comes to downloading and implementing EU policies, which are the political and administrative systems.
