On the Performance of Trellis Coded Modulation in a Concatenated Reed-Bolomon System [PDF]
Concatenated systems combining the error correcting power of trellis codes and Reed-Solomon (RS) codes have been used to achieve error rates between 10-10 and 10-20 on satelite communications links [l].

DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Modified Welch Berlekamp Algorithm to Decode Reed Solomon Codes
In this paper, the Reed Solomon Code is decoded using the Welch-Berlekamp Algorithm. The RS Decoder is implemented using Hardware Description Language VHDL (VHSIC hardware Description Language) and simulated on Modelsim software.

Mechanotransducing Organic Electrochemical Diode for Crosstalk‐Inhibited Artificial Skin
An innovative approach is presented to a stretchable mechanotransducing diode that unifies rectification and tactile‐sensing functionality. This approach enables to fabricate the diode that maintains a large rectification ratio (5 × 102) at a high operational frequency (100 Hz).

An Adaptive Arq – Harq Method With Two Rs Codes
In this paper we proposed multistage adaptive ARQ/HARQ/HARQ scheme. This method combines pure ARQ (Automatic Repeat reQuest) mode in low channel bit error rate and hybrid ARQ method using two different Reed-Solomon codes in middle and high error rate conditions. It follows, that our scheme has three stages. The main goal is to increase number of states

RS Codes for Downlink LTE System over LTE-MIMO Channel
Nowdays, different applications require a modern generation of mobile communication systems; long term evolution (LTE) is a candidate to achieve this purpose. One important challenge in wireless communications, including LTE systems, is the suitable techniques of controlling errors that degrade system performance in transmission systems over multipath ...

Aberrant birds: five cases of progressive graying in southern brazil
The plumage of birds can exhibit various chromatic aberrations, with progressive graying being one example. This condition is characterized by the presence of randomly scattered white feathers, giving the bird a mottled appearance.

Tumor‐tropic human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) were used as delivery vehicles for magnetotheranostic gold–iron oxide nanoflowers. Magnetic particle imaging of the iron component demonstrated widespread intratumoral distribution and sustained retention in contrast to injection of naked nanoflowers.
