Plant Domestication Affects the Oviposition Behavior and Performance of Ganaspis kimorum, a Parasitoid of Drosophila suzukii

open access: yesEntomologia Experimentalis et Applicata, EarlyView.
In this study, we investigated the effects of blueberry domestication on the oviposition behavior and performance of Ganaspis kimorum, a parasitoid of Drosophila suzukii. Domestication of blueberries reduced the oviposition‐searching behavior of the parasitoid but enhanced parasitoid performance, including offspring performance. Additionally, blueberry

Claudin‐18 expression in gastric type adenocarcinoma and HPV‐associated adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix

open access: yesHistopathology, EarlyView.
CLDN18 (43‐14A) is expressed in most gastric type adenocarcinomas and a much smaller proportion of HPV‐associated adenocarcinomas. Expression of CLDN18.2 mRNA but not CLDN18.1 mRNA is confirmed in both gastric type adenocarcinomas and HPV‐associated adenocarcinomas.

Reinventing henna: Enzyme‐catalysed colour release from stabilized Lawsonia inermis L. extracts

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.
The instability and reduced dyeing performance of a cosmetic formulation containing 2‐hydroxy‐1,4‐naphthoquinone (lawsone), derived from Lawsonia inermis L., is demonstrated in comparison to a novel two‐component system. This system comprises one formulation with naturally occurring lawsone precursors and a second containing a specific hydrolase ...
