Bi‐Directional Recurrent Attentional Topic Model Using Flexible Priors

open access: yesComputational Intelligence, Volume 42, Issue 2, April 2026.
ABSTRACT This article presents extensions to the Bi‐Directional Recurrent Attentional Topic Model (bi‐RATM) framework, a Dirichlet‐based model used in text document analysis. The allocation of topics to a sentence in a document is determined by its content as well as the topics of its neighboring sentences, and the weighting is typically variable. Many

Synergistic Effect of Co‐Pyrolysis of Biomass and Disposable Face Mask Waste on Energy Efficiency: Experimental Modeling for Energetic Characteristics

open access: yesGCB Bioenergy, Volume 18, Issue 4, April 2026.
The viability of co‐pyrolysis as a sustainable approach to simultaneously manage agricultural residues and COVID‐19‐related plastic waste, producing energy‐dense fuels and contributing to circular economy goals. The biomass and plastic blend exhibited favorable energetic characteristics with lower ΔG at higher temperatures.

Optimization of the Binary System—Chlorella vulgaris and Yeast Protein Extract—To Stabilize Vegan Sustainable Mayonnaise

open access: yesJournal of Food Process Engineering, Volume 49, Issue 4, April 2026.
This assessment offers a vegan alternative to condiments by the substitution of egg fraction with a binary system composed of microalgae Chlorella vulgaris and Saccharomyces cerevisiae protein extract. Incorporation ratios were statistically predicted by means of Response Surface Methodology following a Central Composite Design. Responses were analyzed

Dietitians as System Builders: Advancing Equity, Sustainability and Health in Community Nutrition and Primary Care

open access: yesJournal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Volume 39, Issue 2, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Diet‐related challenges in primary care and community settings increasingly reflect the convergence of health, social and environmental pressures. Although dietitians routinely navigate this complexity, their system‐level contributions often remain implicit.
