A Combined Cable-Connected RSU and UAV-Assisted RSU Deployment Strategy in V2I Communication

ICC 2020 - 2020 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2020
Vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication enables vehicles to acquire surrounding traffic information in real time, which significantly improves the driving safety and comfort. The cable-connected roadside unit (c-RSU) with high communication capability and large communication range plays an indispensable role in V2I communication.

Photosensitive interaction of RSU 1069 with DNA

International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics, 1984
RSU 1069 is a 2-nitroimidazole radiosensitizer with an aziridine-containing side chain. In light (360 nm) the absorbance maximum of the nitro group at 325 nm disappears, which is accompanied by expulsion of the nitro group as the nitrite ion. We suggest an intramolecular cyclization of the aziridine side chain and the C2 of the imidazole ring as a ...

Studies on the toxicity of RSU-1069

International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics, 1986
RSU-1069 combines an aziridine function with a 2-nitroimidazole and has been reported to exhibit extraordinary radiosensitization both in vitro and in vivo. Such sensitization appears to be at variance with the electron affinity of the compound. In addition, recent experiments suggest that the compound is highly toxic to hypoxic tumor cells in vivo. On

Induction of DNA crosslinks in vitro upon reduction of the nitroimidazole-aziridines RSU-1069 and RSU-1131

Biochemical Pharmacology, 1987
The interaction of the nitroimidazole-aziridines RSU-1069 and RSU-1131, as parent or radiation-reduced species, with plasmid DNA in aqueous solution at pH 7 results in strand breakage. The yields of DNA single strand breaks (ssb), "alkali-labile" damage and DNA crosslinks induced by these alkylating agents have been assessed.

Enhancement of DNA damage in mammalian cells upon bioreduction of the nitroimidazole-aziridines RSU-1069 and RSU-1131

Biochemical Pharmacology, 1988
The induction of DNA double-(dsb) and single-(ssb) strand breaks by RSU-1069, RSU-1131 and misonidazole in V79 mammalian cells has been investigated using sedimentation in isokinetic sucrose gradients after incubation for various times (1-3 hr) at 310 K under both hypoxic and aerobic conditions.

The chemosensitizing and cytotoxic effects of RSU 1164 and RSU 1165 in a murine tumor model

International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics, 1989
RSU 1069, the lead compound in a series of nitroimidazoles containing an alkylating aziridine function, has been shown to be a potent radiosensitizer and chemopotentiator both in vitro and in vivo. However, this agent also demonstrates significant in situ toxicity.

Optimizing RSUs Network against Cascading Failure

2015 IEEE 12th Intl Conf on Ubiquitous Intelligence and Computing and 2015 IEEE 12th Intl Conf on Autonomic and Trusted Computing and 2015 IEEE 15th Intl Conf on Scalable Computing and Communications and Its Associated Workshops (UIC-ATC-ScalCom), 2015
Nowadays, with the development of the vehicular ad hoc network, the reliability and stability of the communication network between RSUs has become a critical issue. So in the case of cascading failure, what topological structure can generate a relatively robust network with a relatively low cost?
