A machine vision system of ball grid array inspection on RT-Linux OS
Proceedings of 2004 International Conference on the Business of Electronic Product Reliability and Liability (IEEE Cat. No.04EX809), 2004In this paper, a machine vision system for ball grid array (BGA) inspection is proposed. The binocular vision system can provide enough geometrical information by an optical approach for monitoring the quality of solder balls. A new optical method for BGA lead coplanarity measurement has been proposed, whose feasibility was verified in theory.

This paper puts forward a software system architecture for the humanoid robot teleoperation system based on RT-Linux/Linux/Windows operating system. In this new method the communication control subsystem is based on Linux operating system and exchanges data with the real-time control subsystem by using network interface instead of memolink.

Extending RT-Linux to support flexible hard real-time systems with optional components
1998This paper describes a framework that provides a task programming model with optional components and the appropriate operating system mechanisms for supporting it. The approach provides 100% guarantees to hard real-time tasks using fixed priority pre-emptive scheduling.
