Evaluation of biogenic markers-based phenotyping for resistance to Aphanomyces root rot in field pea

open access: yesInformation Processing in Agriculture, 2022
Biogenic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted by plants can reveal information about plant adaptation, defense processes, and biological pathways. Thus, such VOC data may be utilized to capture phenotypic plant responses to the environment.

Improvement Analysis of a Height‐Deviation Compensation‐Based Linear Interpolation Method for Multi‐Station Regional Troposphere

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 10, Issue 9, September 2023., 2023
Abstract In network real‐time kinematic positioning of multi‐reference station, the spatial and temporal distribution of tropospheric delay is affected by both horizontal and elevation. The traditional modeling strategy of regional troposphere takes more consideration of the horizontal factor, and the incomplete consideration of the elevation factor ...

Spatial pattern consistency and repeatability of proximal soil sensor data for digital soil mapping

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Soil Science, Volume 74, Issue 5, September–October 2023., 2023
Abstract Data from proximal soil sensors can facilitate digital soil mapping at high spatial resolutions. However, their use for predicting static soil properties, such as texture, is affected by spatio‐temporal changes in environmental and measurement conditions.

Development and Validation of the EBP-Affinity Questionnaire: A Mixed-Method Study. [PDF]

open access: yesNurs Open
ABSTRACT Background Implementation of evidence‐based practice (EBP) in nursing homes is important to improve quality of care and reduce costs. These facilities primarily employ certified nurse assistants (CNAs) and vocationally‐trained registered nurses (VTRNs).

Real‐time precise orbit determination for FY‐3C and FY‐3D based on BDS and GPS onboard observation

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 17, Issue 8, Page 1213-1229, August 2023., 2023
(1) The real‐time precise orbit determination (POD) for low earth orbit (LEO) satellites based on spaceborne global positioning system (GPS) and BDS‐2 observations are executed. (2) Code multipath piece‐wise linear (PWL) error model of BDS‐2 satellites is constructed and applied to real‐time LEO POD.

Energy Loss Analysis of Two‐Terminal Tandem PV Systems under Realistic Operating Conditions—Revealing the Importance of Fill Factor Gains

open access: yesSolar RRL, Volume 7, Issue 8, April 2023., 2023
Herein, a model for calculating the loss distribution for different operating conditions is presented. A perovskite/silicon tandem module is used as a case study. Simulations show that the thermalization, reflection, and inverter losses increase by 1.2%, 1.1%, and 1.4%, when operating outdoors compared to standard test conditions.

A‐CHAIM: Near‐Real‐Time Data Assimilation of the High Latitude Ionosphere With a Particle Filter

open access: yesSpace Weather, Volume 21, Issue 3, March 2023., 2023
Abstract The Assimilative Canadian High Arctic Ionospheric Model (A‐CHAIM) is an operational ionospheric data assimilation model that provides a 3D representation of the high latitude ionosphere in Near‐Real‐Time (NRT). A‐CHAIM uses low‐latency observations of slant Total Electron Content (sTEC) from ground‐based Global Navigation Satellite System ...

Detection of Ecballium elaterium in hedgerow olive orchards using a low‐cost uncrewed aerial vehicle and open‐source algorithms

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 79, Issue 2, Page 645-654, February 2023., 2023
The use of imagery from a low‐cost unmanned aerial vehicle and open‐source algorithms allow mapping Ecballium elaterium infestations in hedgerow olive orchards for site‐specific weed management. Abstract BACKGROUND Ecballium elaterium (common name: squirting cucumber) is an emerging weed problem in hedgerow or superintensive olive groves under no ...
