Pharmaceutical policy and off‐label prescribing in pregnancy: A population‐based historical cohort study analyzing inequality in access to antiemetics within Australia's Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, Volume 105, Issue 9, Page 1789-1799, September 2026.
Public spending on antiemetics among pregnant women in Australia is concentrated in socioeconomically disadvantaged women. However, public expenditure is also driven by off‐label ondansetron use (i.e., use outside regulatory‐approved indications), highlighting a misalignment between pharmaceutical policy, public expenditure patterns, and pregnant women'

Beyond self‐report: The relationship between daily social media use and sleep in university students

open access: yesBritish Journal of Health Psychology, Volume 31, Issue 3, September 2026.
Abstract Objectives University students regularly report insufficient sleep, with almost one‐third of students achieving less than 6.5 hours per night. Social media is one behaviour shown to negatively influence sleep. However, there has been a reliance on self‐report measures of both processes, which may not reflect objective behaviour. The aim was to

Effect of Successive Bleaching Treatments Followed by Staining on Color, Whiteness, and Translucency of Polymer‐Based CAD‐CAM Materials

open access: yesJournal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, Volume 38, Issue 9, Page 1793-1801, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate differences in color, whiteness, and translucency of CAD‐CAM materials after successive bleaching treatments and coffee immersion. Materials and Methods Lava Ultimate (LU) and VITA Enamic (VE) were divided into four groups (n = 12): untreated (control), 35% hydrogen peroxide (WH), 10% carbamide peroxide (OP), or WH ...

Kinetic Analysis of Transmetalation at Prototypical Nickel(II) Catalyst Species: Rates, Mechanisms, and Implications for Catalysis

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 34, 17 August 2026.
A 31P{1H} NMR method enabling direct measurement of transmetalation at Ni(II) is disclosed, providing an extensive kinetic dataset. Rates span five orders of magnitude and exhibit strong ligand dependence, with monodentate ligands promoting transmetalation.
