Impact of Rubber Plantations on the Environment of Tripura
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2006This paper attempts to understand the immediate impact of rubber plantations on the environment, mainly on air and water, on the basis of a pilot survey undertaken in two sub-divisions of Tripura, Belonia and Udaipur. Rubber plantations add to the green cover and no conclusive evidence of negative impact was visible.
